Weezer announce arena headline shows Playing Melbourne and Brisbane this October With special guests Regurgitator Also supporting KISS for their last ever Australian show

US alt-rock heroes Weezer are returning to stages down under for the first time in six years, announcing two not-to-be-missed arena shows in Melbourne and Brisbane this October. The legendary band will be bringing their Indie Rock Road Trip tour to Australia following a sold out run in America playing to upwards of 15,000 people every night.

Playing an incredible array of hits and deep-cut classics from across their incredible catalogue, fans will enjoy cult-anthems like “Island In The Sun”, “El Scorcho”, “Say It Ain’t So”, “Hash Pipe” and “Pork and Beans”, along with “Beverly Hills”, “Buddy Holly“ and loads more.

Breaking ground in 1994 with their debut record Weezer (the blue album), Weezer have since gone on to become a Grammy award-winning rock band, selling over 17 million records worldwide and remain a coming-of-age soundtrack today.

They are joined by electro-rock icons Regurgitator, who are set to bring enormous energy with revered 90s hits like “! (The Song Formally Known As)”, “Black Bugs” and “Polyester Girl” along with “Everyday Formula”, “Kong Foo Sing” and many more.

Heading up Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Friday 6 October and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday 8 October, Weezer are bringing the buzz in between their monumental KISS support slot in Sydney on Saturday 7 October.
